The Ganek Immersive Studio opens its doors

In fall 2023 the Ganek Immersive Studio opened to the public for an evening of headsets, projection and live music.

The story

Why it matters: The open house is where students, faculty and guests see the studio’s tools and student work up close, and try them for themselves.

What happened:

  • Guests put on VR headsets and stepped into student and studio work.
  • Generative visuals filled the studio’s projection wall.
  • A live electronic music set ran through the evening.
